About This Site

Nerd at ComputerI didn't want to hire employees for my Web site development business, so I developed a "cookie-cutter" approach, using simple site designs that were relatively easy for one "graphically-challenged" person to develop and maintain. Fortunately, most of my clients were public agencies, so flashy and distinctive site designs were not important.

My sites still tend to be unimaginative and utilitarian, and this site is no exception, but my development techniques have changed over the past eleven years. Instead of using HTML tables for page layout, I now use CSS for design and positioning. Here are some of the development tools I use:
